My greatest find to date

I bought this Jaeger coat in the Dorothy House Hospice Care shop in Bath. There’s a little back story to this purchase. I was in Bath for my birthday. I had 5 minutes to spare before it was time for our lunch reservation. I persuaded my husband to let me spend those minutes in the nearest charity shop. The coat was at the very front of the shop, priced £35. It’s a mid length, military green-coloured coat, with gold buttons and epaulettes. I was amazed at my luck when I tried it on and it was a good fit. The volunteer told me she’d put it out on display only 5 minutes before. It was clearly my lucky day!

Welcome to my blog!

I have started this blog to share with you the goodies I find in the treasure troves that are charity shops. I absolutely love charity shops. I love the mix of products that can be found in them; from vintage clothing, to pots and pans, to curtain hooks.

I live in South Wales and the plan is to create a post each time I find a piece of treasure! I hope you’ll join me on the journey…
